Ms. Ari recently moved from Fairfield, Connecticut to beautiful Incline Village, Nevada. She attended undergrad at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV (LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS!) and earned a Bachelor's of Social Work Magna Cum Laude. From WVU, she began working in the Bridgeport Public Schools where she became invested in providing each student exactly what he or she needed to be successful in a learning environment. This led her to attend Fairfield University, where she earned a Master's degree in Special Education (Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA) with courses in Elementary Education as well. This course of study allowed her to best address the needs of all students while upholding high standards of behavior and academic vigor. She enjoys teaching students to foster a "growth mindset" and works at breaking down learning barriers that can exist, while addressing the needs and strengths of each student.
Ms. Ari lives with her fiancé, Daniel, and their two dogs Colton and Penny. They will be married on October 1, 2016 back in their home state of Connecticut. She enjoys paddle boarding, riding her road bike, running with her dogs, hiking, and backpacking. Some of her more tame interests include sewing, crocheting, knitting and reading a good book!
